• Environment:

      - IBM Rational Asset Manager 7.5.1.1
      - Web Browser : Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0
  
  Reproducible Y/N: Y
  
  Description of problem:
  
  Performance drops when adding reviewers to large Lifecycle (more
  than 12 stages).
  The 'Add reviewer' dialog may take a long time to open/appear.
  
  
  Steps to reproduce
  
  Log out and log in as an publisher license user(this time I
  choose user1)
  Navigate to an asset (the asset is in Draft state)
  
  Click 'add reviewers...'
  The add reviewers input dialog appears  after 18 sec.
  Add reviewer etc...
  
  Click save (Lifecycle configuration).
  
  the dialog 'saving lifecycle...' appears after 1 second.
  
  The save is completed after about 22 seconds
  
  Expected:
  The add reviewers input dialog shoudl appear immediately or
  a notification to the user should be given so the user is aware
  of what is happening.
  
  Workaround
  Use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.

  a notification to the user should be given so the user is
  aware of what is happening.
  

Problem conclusion

• I was under the assumption that this was just opening the
  add reviewers dialog (e.g. clicking the Add Reviewers...
  button in the lifecycle editor). But after re-reading the
  description, it seems they're talking about clicking the Add
  reviewers... link that's in the blue bar on every asset tab
  (see attachment 42633). That does a complete page load of
  the review page, opens the lifecycle editor, then opens the
  dialog.
  
  One thing we could do is provide a "Loading..." message
  while the lifecycle editor is loading. I think that's where
  the customer is getting confused as to what's going on.
