    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
    * When you use an Excel Test Data Set containing dates, it is *
    * assumed that they are expressed in GMT. Tester converts *
    * these dates to local time. For example, consider a *
    * spreadsheet containing 31/08/2010 and 31/12/2010             *
    * (dd/mm/yyyy). In the "London UK" locale, these will be *
    * converted to 30/08/2010 23:00 and 31/12/2010 00:00           *
    * respectively; in the "Amsterdam NL" locale, these will be *
    * converted to 30/08/2010 22:00 and 30/12/2010 23:00           *
    * respectively.                                                *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    * Upgrade to Rational Integration Tester and/or RIT-Agent      *
    * 8.5.1.1 or above.                                            *
    ****************************************************************

Problem conclusion

  • This problem was fixed in Rational Integration Tester 8.5.1.1.
    In this version it is also possible to set the timezone that RIT
    will use to interpret dates using the property:
    com.ibm.rational.rit.excel.timezone. For example, to revert to
    the previous behavior the following should be specified in the
    JVM Arguments section of Library Manager:

    -Dcom.ibm.rational.rit.execel.timezone=GMT
