Error description

  • A Page has been created in Cognos Connection with two Portlets,
    a Cognos Navigator in the first with two reports and a Cognos
    Viewer in the second.  A Channel is defined between the two
    Portlets.  In the Viewer Portlet, if any of the drop-down menus
    are selected and the cursor is moved out of the Portlet, the
    drop-down menu remains open with its menu items enabled and
    active.??If another report is then run from the Navigator
    Portlet, the report is displayed in the Viewer along with the
    drop-down menu displayed previously.  Subsequent selections of
    the remaining drop-down menus and then selecting another report
    from the Navigator leads to all drop-down menus being displayed
    with enabled and active menu items.??Using the Refresh button on
    the Viewer Portlet does not remove the drop-down menu(s) -- only
    by using the browser refresh function does the page return to
    its expected state.
