Error description

  • The 0C4 in CSQVSRRX can occur during shutdown when a service
task (in this case the trace task, TRTASK00) is not ended
during normal shutdown processing. This is detected by CSQVASTM
during local memory terminate processing, so CSQVDST0 is
invoked to ABTERM the service task with 6C6 and reason code
00E50070. CSQVSRRX is invoked under the service task
TCB to process the abend, and tries to access the RMFT.
However, the RMFT has been released at this stage in shutdown
    processing, so the 0C4 occurs.

    ****************************************************************
The 0C4 in CSQVSRRX can occur during shutdown when a service
task (in this case the trace task, TRTASK00) is not ended
during normal shutdown processing. This is detected by CSQVASTM
during local memory terminate processing, so CSQVDST0 is
invoked to ABTERM the service task with S6C6 and reason code
    00E50070.
CSQVSRRX is invoked under the service task TCB to process the
abend, and tries to access the RMFT. However, the RMFT has been
released by this stage in shutdown processing, so the 0C4
    occurs.
The root cause of this problem is that the TRTASK00 is not
    being ended correctly by CSQWVZCT.

Problem conclusion

  • The code was changed to correctly end the TRTASK00 task in
CSQWVZCT and to suppress the 6C6-00E50070 logrec entries.
