  Attempts to use the API call 'getDiagramOfSelectedElement()' for
  an element selected in the diagram on Eclipse, results in null
  pointer exception.
  
  Description:
  
  When using the API call ' getDiagramOfSelectedElement()' for an
  element selected in the diagram on Eclipse?s platform
  integration mode, it is expected that the diagram containing the
  element is returned. However this is not the case and it results
  in a null pointer exception.
  
  Workaround:
  
  There is no known workaround at this time.
