Error description
CQ Web 8.0.0.x does not recognize a modified drop down list control field if it was originally set via hook Steps to reproduce 1.) Add a hook to list control named 'Email_sent' on a CQ record that resets the value from Yes to No using $entity-?SetFieldValue( 'Email_sent', 'No' ); 2.) Modify the record and change 'Email_sent' to Yes. 3.) Select a notes field on the record and add some text. Email_sent will be reset to No by the hook 4.) Go back to 'Email_sent' and change it to Yes. 5.) Commit the record CQ Web 8.0.0.x does not recognize that Email_sent was set to Yes so the e-mail is not sent. This was not a problem in CQ Web 7.1.2.x.
Local fix
Problem summary

Problem conclusion
A fix is available in ClearQuest 8.0.0.5. CQ Web now correctly recognizes a modified drop down list control field if it was originally set via hook
