Error description

• An error occurs when you try to remove an attachment with a name
  containing more than 50 characters in ClearQuest Web client.
  
  Steps to reproduce.
  1. In ClearQuest Web client, open a record and modify it.
  2. Add to the record an attachment with a name containing more
  than 50 characters.
  3. Save the change and an error message appears saying that the
  attachment name cannot exceed 50 characters.
  4. Dismiss the error message.
  5. Select the attachment and click Remove.
  6. A prompt for confirmation appears.
  7. Click OK to confirm.
  8. An unexpected error appears saying that 'resource not found'.

  When a ClearQuest Web 8.0.0.x user tries to add a attachment
  with over 50 characters in the file name, they receive an
  error message saying it is not allowed.  This is correct
  behavior but the user then can't delete the attachment from
  the form control because the Remove button is greyed out.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available in ClearQuest 8.0.0.5.
  
  ClearQuest Web 8.0.0.x users can now remove attachments with
  over 50 characters in the file name from an attachment form
  control.
