• Abstract:
  
  Using the IBM CICS Explorer 1.1.1.0 plugin with Rational
  Application Developer v8.0.4.1 requires reloading PDE Target
  Platform: CICS TS V4.2 Runtime after restarting the product.
  
  Problem:
  
  On restart of of the product it is necessary to reload the CICS
  TS V4.2 Runtime 'Target Platform' under:
  
  Windows ? Preferences ? Plug-in Development ? Target Platform
  preference
  : [x] CICS TS V4.2 Runtime (Active)
  
  This should not be necessary.
  This appears to be caused by the following Eclipse defect
  (386339):
  
  'Bug 386229 - [target] Active target platform is not in sync
  after restart'

  Local fix:
  
  Manually reload the Target Platform after restarting the
  product.
