PM70893: RAM WEBCLIENT DOES NOT ALLOW USERS TO OPEN ASSETS' FOLDERS.

Rational Asset Manager Fix Pack 2 (7.5.1.2) for 7.5.1

APAR status

• Closed as Permanent restriction.

Error description

• RAM WebClient does not allow users to open assets' folders.
  
  1. Create an asset with 2 folders
  2. Add 1 file to one of the folders
  3. Submit the asset.
  4. Clear your FF v 10.0.0.6 or IE cache
  5. Search for the asset ? Modify ? More Options
  6. Try to open one of the folders.
  
  Result:
  RAM does not open the selected folder.  In order to open one of
  the folders, users must press the FF/IE refresh button

Problem conclusion

• It seems the faces's defect. The workaround is that 1. don't
  clear cache except necessary 2. if have cleared the cache,
  please refresh the browser.
  Why does customer clear the cache before they want to modify
  the asset?
  We don't want customer to do unsual operation using RAM.
