Error description
DFT Definition's matrix relationship are lost after workspace merge Workaround: Modify the entity that is being lost then perform merge
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The cause for this issue is that the matrix is inherited from its parent workspace (root), which does not create a db record for the child workspace (Release 1). Because there is no record created for the child workspace, during the merge, that matrix is not detected and not merged into the target (Release 2). The workaround for this is to edit the matrix in "Release 1" workspace so that a record is created in the db. Once a record exists, the merge is successful.
Problem conclusion
Inherited entities which are not modified in child workspace are not detected during merge
Temporary fix
