PM67845: NEED WRITE ACCESS TO THE INTEGRATION FOLDER FOR CONTROLLER TO WORK FOR A NON-ADMIN USER

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Using the Controller local client, the integration folder is
created C:\Program Files (x86)\ibm\IBM Cognos
Controller\Integration  If the user does not have admin rights
will need write access to the folder.  Otherwise when using Java
programs will receive Internal Error message

Local fix

  • Give the user that does not have admin rights write access to C:
\Program Files (x86)\ibm\IBM Cognos Controller\Integration.
