PM66832: [wi 69434] Advanced file uploader confuses uploading a whole directory vs. changing directory

Rational Asset Manager Fix Pack 2 (7.5.1.2) for 7.5.1

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Follow the steps to reproduce this issue:
  
  1. edit an asset
  
  2. select the advanced file uploader
  
  3. click 'Upload...'
  
  4. In the popup dialog, type the path on the dialog, DO NOT
  CLICK the
  icons to navigate, but rather type the path in the popup dialog
  
  5. Instead of changing to the typed directory to select files
  (the
  expected behavior), the file uploader loads the entire contents
  of the
  typed directory.
  
  
  
  
  The workaround is to click on the icon to navigate but still
  this needs to be fixed.

  reversed the fix, and added new fix, where you select a
  folder, we ask you a question whether you want to upload the
  folder or browse for more files.
  
  Fixed in RAM 7.5.1.2
