PM66796: IBM Rational ClearCase ClearTeam Explorer truncates label list in Version Tree

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Version Tree in IBM Rational ClearCase ClearTeam Explorer
  (CTE) does note list a long list of labels when expanding the
  list.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Right-click on an element with at least 40 labels on it and
  select Version Tree.
  2. In the Version Tree hover-over a version with many labels and
  a scrollable list of all the attached labels for that version
  provides the full list of labels.
  3. Hover over the icon to 'Expand annotation area vertically to
  view full contents' and select it.  The list is truncated.
  4. Making the ClearCase Version Tree window full screen still
  displays a truncated list of labels.
  5. Opening the IBM Rational ClearCase Explorer and bringing up
  the Version Tree will show the full list of labels on the
  version.
  
  Workaround:
  Use the ClearCase Explorer or command line to view all labels on
  each version in the Version Tree.

  The ClearTeam Explorer versoin tree truncates the label name
  by default, thus not allowing a user to see the full name.
  This is problematic when the most significant characters are
  at the end of the string.
