Error description
There are two EGL programs: A41 and A42. A42 will call A41, the abend is expected in A41. If A42 invokes A41 with COBOL 'CALL', A42 will be end with an abend; if A42 invokes A41 with 'CICS LINK', A42 doesn't abend.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The problem was that a severe error was not causing the called program to terminate the rununit, like it did in V6.
Problem conclusion
The fix is that when in v60 exception compat mode, the software now sets the flag to terminate the rununit on certain severe errors, like the 86 error code (cursor not open).
