Error description

  • This FREEMAIN failure with code x'0D07' in module DFHSMMF' still
occurs even with PM55512 applied. It appears that this
failure in mod DFHEIIC (UK77330) +x'32AA' occurs because
    TCZICADP is zero.

Kernal stack shows following module flow:

    ****************************************************************
A remote EXEC CICS START performed by DFHEIIC by an application
using adapter data produced the same symptoms as those fixed by
UK77330, even though that PTF is applied.
The reason for this is that TCA field TCZICADP, which was
correctly set on upon entry by DFHEIIC, has been overlaid by
zeroes by another domain's use of the same storage area during
processing of the EXEC CICS START. This leads to DFHEIIC issuing
an invalid FREEMAIN of storage location zero.

Problem conclusion

  • UK77330 UK77488 UK78671 UK79075
DFHEIIC has been changed such that, just ahead of the FREEMAIN
of ADPTFLDS storage, if field adapter_ptr is non zero, we now
move its contents into tczicadp, to compensate for the
possibility that tczicadp may have been inadvertently overlaid.
