Several cases encountered:

. In a Rational Application Developer/Rational Developer for
System z,
  installation, an error message is displayed during
Team/Synchronize
  with Repository operation :
  Licensing Information,
   Plugin IBM Rational Compare and Merge Modeler
(com.ibm.xtools.modeler.compare)
  has no valid license key to run.

. This message is also appearing in a Rational Developer for
System z,
  when accessing 'General/Compare/patch/Delta Tree Configuration
  or UML Compare/Merge.

Local fix

  • No workaround.

Problem summary

  • Rational Developer for System z customers receiving error
message  Licensing Information, Plugin IBM Rational Compare and
Merge Modeler (com.ibm.xtools.modeler.compare) has no valid
license key to run.

Problem conclusion

  • License was added for Plugin IBM Rational Compare and Merge
Modeler (com.ibm.xtools.modeler.compare)

IBM Rational Developer for System z V8.0.3.3 Fix Pack which
