* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CICS dumps and hangs after starting     *
*                      transaction CLDM.                       *

After starting the CLDM transaction, CICS can take a system dump
and go into a hang that never ends. The following message is
issued:
DFHLD0002 A SEVERE ERROR (CODE X'0909') HAS OCCURRED IN MODULE
DFHLDLD
The problem is down to a register conflict in DFHLDMAP which can
result in the CLDM transaction not releasing the loader domain
global lock.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHLDMAP has been corrected to avoid the register conflict.
