Error description

  • In RDz 8.0.3.2 xsebatch, for WSDL to PL/I generation in MPP
template, the OR symbol '|' is used even when '!' symbol is
specified by the user to be used for the PL/I OR symbol.

Problem summary


    

  • The user-supplied OR character, which is taken from the
PlatformProperties.xml property <ImportProperty
name="com.ibm.ccl.pli.PLI_OR" value="!"/>, is not always used by
the Batch Processor when generating the concatenation operator
(!!) in error messages that can be emitted by IMS PL/I top-down
template programs.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Several hard-coded || (2 vertical bars) were corrected in the
Batch Processor's IMS PL/I top-down MPP template generator.

The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
IBM Rational Developer for System z V8.0.3.3 Fix Pack which
is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
