Error description

  APAR Error Description:
  Abstract: SA gets crashed with Database error ?XML Parsing
  error?  and the activity is terminating
  Problem: When  exporting data from ERP into SA, and the data is
  named with single quotes, a database error occurs.  for example:
  
  220071,21,FIXKZ,'Fixed'
  indicator,0,0,1,VARCHAR2(1),1,0,VARCHAR2,CHAR,,
  
  
  Local fix:
  We have tested the behavior and able to identify the issue.
  
  The issue is with the data Element Short Desc ?Fixed? indicator
  (pos id 71), which is adding as Data Element Name in System
  Architect.
  
  SA is taking the ?? characters as garbage in the Name field and
  which causes XML parsing error.
  
  We are able to complete the activity with the subject area if we
  exclude that table, which seems like not a better option as per
  business.
  
  On further addition on this, we have tested with the same
  repository/Subject area in SA 11.4.0.3 /SA ERP 5.0 and the issue
  is not reproducing there.
  Seems like a bug introduced in current SA v 11.4.1.2.

Problem conclusion

• The routine that processes quoted names was improved to deal
  with strange\malformed names.  Basically a leading quote
  without a trailing one (as in their data) would cause the
  copy to be unterminated.
