Error description
Environment: - Microsoft Windows / Linux - IBM Rational Asset Manager 7.5.1.1. Reproducible Y/N: Y Description of problem: Users cannot create or modify assets after previously abandoning a modification or submission Steps to reproduce Scenario 1: Abandoning a new asset submission 1. Open a new browser and log into RAM 2. Click on 'Submit' to create a new asset 3. Click on the 'Assets' link in the top bar (abandoning the asset submission) 4. Search for an asset and click on it 5. Click on the 'Modify' button -- In IE 8, the asset details page is redisplayed. The status bar indicates 'Internal Error: Cannot dispatch user function'-- 6. Click on the 'Duplicate' or 'New Version' buttons -- Same behavior, same error message on the status bar -- 7. Return to asset search results 8. Click 'Submit Asset' -- Now the warning popup is shown -- 9. Click 'Continue..' in the popup -- The Submit page is displayed -- 10. Click 'Cancel' to abandon the submission -- Now it is possible to make modifications to assets -- Scenario 2: Abandoning an asset modification 1. Open a new browser and log into RAM 3. Click on the 'Assets' link in the top bar 4. Search for an asset and click on it 5. Click on the 'Modify' button 6. Click on the 'Assets' link in the top bar (abandoning the asset modification) 7. Follow the same steps in scenario 1 starting at step 4 Workaround Go back to the asset search page as shown in the above step 7

I changed the onload behavior to be onclick for and invisible button, then simulated a button click using Dojo's addOnLoad facility.
