PM63061: RDz 8.0.3 CAN'T DELETE UNEXPIRED DATASETS

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Using the green-screen an attempt to delete a dataset that has
  an expiration after today will result in a warning message but
  it can still be deleted by entering a'/'
  
  Similar behaviour is expected from RDz but currently RDz just
  presents an error message and prevents the delete.
  
  The error dialog that is presented shows the message:
  
  UNEXPIRED PURGE DATE+
  ** VSAM CATALOG RETURN CODE IS 84 - REASON CODE IGG0CLFK-0
  ** ENTRY xxxxxx.yyyyyyyy DATA NOT DELETED
  LASTCC=8

• Use the Host Connect Emulator within RDz

  01.A data set that has an expiration date which has not expired
     can not be deleted.
  

Problem conclusion

• 01.When a data set being deleted has an expiration date which
     has not expired, confirmation dialog is shown.
     If user select "Yes" to delete the data set, the data set
     will be deleted.
     If user select "No" to delete the data set, the data set will
     not be deleted.
