Error description

  • Field added to indexed record type in CQFTS not searchable
without fieldname: before the search term

    Steps to Reproduce:
1.) Create SAMPL database using defect tracking schema with
    connection name CqFTS.

2.) Run the following command FTSA command '--init_cq_fts'
cqperl cqtsadmin.pl --username admin --password '' --dbset cqfts
    --userdb sampl --ftshome c:\CQ.Search --init_cq_fts

    3) Edit the generated Entity file so that you have only 1 record
    type: 'Defect' in this file.
In addition, remove 1 or more fields from the list of fields
    CQ FTS Entity File:
    C:/CQ.Search/cqfts_sampl/Entity-cqfts-sampl.txt

    4) Complete the FTS setup by running the FTSA command
    '--setup_cq-fts'
cqperl cqtsadmin.pl --username admin --password '' --dbset cqfts
    --userdb sampl --ftshome c:\CQ.Search --setup_cq_fts

    5) In the FTSA doc, read the step to add a new field and run
the FTSA command to add / remove the record-type
A.)Edit the file cqtsadmin-TextSearch-SAMPL.xml, and change the
value for the XML tag?removeRecordType? from:
    ?newValue required='no'??/newValue?
    to:
    ?newValue required='no'?Defect?/newValue?
If you are removing multiple record types, use a semicolon (?;?)
    to separate them.

B)Edit the file cqtsadmin-TextSearch-SAMPL.xml and change the
value for the XML tag?addRecordType? from:
    ?newValue required='no'??/newValue?
    to:
    ?newValuerequired='no'?Defect=Description,Headline,Keywords,Note
    _Entry?/newValue?

6.)At the command prompt, issue the following command, which
first removes the record type and then adds it with the new
    field:
cqperl cqtsadmin.pl --username admin --password '' --dbset cqfts
    --userdb SAMPL --ftshome C:\CQ.Search --remove_record_type
    --add_record_type
