Error description

  • iFix (10.1.4801.1145) for COGCQ00644582 causes the following
problem.  The user who requested iFix (10.1.4801.1145), cannot
open Excel 2007 report created after setting the server
parameter introduced in this iFix. - Parameter:
RSVP.EXCEL.XLS2007.FULLDECIMALPRECISION - Value: TRUE  When
opening the file with Excel 2007, you would see the following
error.  <Error message from Excel 2007> "Excel 2007 found
unreadable content in <ReportName>.xlsx. Do you want to recover
the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this
workbook, click Yes."  Please note the file can be opened with
winzip and each xml files looks okay at a glance.

Local fix

  • Delete the server parameter setting (RSVP.EXCEL.XLS2007.FULLDECI
MALPRECISION ). Caution: By this workaround, you may get 12 digi
ts as maximum of decimal places in Excel 2007, instead of gettin
g 15 digits.
