PM61542: _USE_BFCREDS passing domain data when _USE_BFCREDS_DOMAIN set to 0

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using the _USE_BFCREDS variable to pass through the users
  login information to the server as the server authentication, it
  is passing through domain information as well, this is as if
  _USE_BFCREDS_DOMAIN is set to 1, even when it is not.

  The previous behavior is inconsistent with the document.
  1. When set " _USE_BFCREDS=1", the domain name is by default
  attached to the username as the agent authentication, like
  "domain\jsmith"
  2. To disable the domain name, users need to defined a
  variable named as "_NO_DOMAIN_AUTH" as well as set "
  _USE_BFCREDS=1". In this case, engine uses the username
  "jsmith" for the agent logon
  
  After the fix,
  1. When set " _USE_BFCREDS=1", only the username "jsmith" is
  used for agent authentication
  2. To attach the windows domain name for the agent
  authentication, like "domain\jsmith", user needs to set
  "_USE_BFCREDS=1" and "_USE_BFCREDS_DOMAIN=1".
  

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in Build Forge 7.1.3.3 release
