Error description

• RATIONAL DEVELOPER FOR SYSTEM Z (RDz)
  When doing a local syntax check online, the errors in the Remote
  Error List are not marked in 'red' in the margin of the source
  at the corresponding line
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Error messages are reported against a file that is in the Ascii
  cache.  The edit session is using a cache
  that was the original cache, but is not a UTF-8 cache.
  
  Since we instituted a multi cache system, the file names in the
  error markers are not mapped to the edit session cache.  We were
  pointing to a file that was never opened in the edit session.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V8.0.3.3 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
