  • Data set member with non-English characters are not sorted
correctly in the Remote Systems view.

Problem summary


    

  • Sorting mechanism used in RSE view is using default Locale and
z/OS Projects view was using normal Java String sort. Hence the
sorting is inconsistent.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Sorting mechanism for data sets and data set members in RSE view
is fixed to use normal Java String sort and make it consistent
with z/OS Projects view.

The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
IBM Rational Developer for System z V8.0.3.2 Fix Pack which
is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
