PM58548: Visual Studio 2010 not officially supported but looked for during Rhapsody installation

Rational Rhapsody Fix Pack 1 (7.6.1.1) for 7.6.1

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• At the following link:

  only Visual Studio 2008 is shown as being supported.
  However when Rhapsody 7.6 and above is being installed, Rhapsody
  will detect Visual Studio 2010 and ask for its path. This makes
  no sense, as customers are complaining that we don't support
  Visual Studio 2010, yet we are asking for its location during
  install suggesting that we do support it.
  
  I would suggest that the documentation be updated to state that
  we support Visual Studio 2010, or that this detection is removed
  from Rhapsody until such a time that we do support it.
