• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Using the Synergy CLI, use the reconcile command to bring
  uncontrolled files into Synergy control:
  
   ccm rwa -cu -mwaf -update_db -r -p ?projectname-version? -task
  ?task_num?
  
  This command will detect uncontrolled files and create them in
  Synergy using type-based migrate rules, but instead of using the
  Windows migrate rules (auto rules) for each typedef, the UNIX
  migrate rules are used.  Thus files created by the reconcile
  command on Windows whose extensions are defined for Windows but
  not UNIX will get created as the default type (ascii) instead of
  the intended type.
  
  This will also result in Windows files whose extensions are not
  lower case to get created upper- or mixed-case to get created as
  ascii as well.

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in Synergy 7.2.
  Will be fixed in 7.1 patch stream in upcoming fix pack.
