PM57934: Rational Developer for System z SCLM edit member first time opens in Browse

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer is running Rational Developer for System z (RDz) SCLM
  DT at v8.0.3 level on the host and on the client.
  
  When customer does an SCLM checkout the first this member is not
  writable.  Subsequent checkouts of the same file are writable.
  
  It appears that the SCLM Client is not passing the correct data.
   The following exception is seen in the log:

Local fix

Problem summary

• When customer does an SCLM checkout the first this member is not
  writable.  Subsequent checkouts of the same file are writable.
  

Problem conclusion

• First edit no longer loads in a read only editor session.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V8.0.3.2 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
