Error description

• Abstract:
  
  Attempts to install a higher version of org.eclipse.draw2
  succeed and this causes exceptions when opening a JSP with the
  Page designer in Split or Design View.
  
  Problem:
  
  These steps reproduce the problem:
  
  1. You configure the Eclipse Graphical Editing Framework update
  site.
  2. You upgrade org.eclipse.draw2d to a higher version, for
  example, 3.7.1.  The upgrade is succesful.
  
  Typically the above happens when attempting to install
  m2eclipse.
  
  Then, you open a JSP with the Page Designer and you receive an
  error like:

  Expected result:
  
  The upgrade of org.eclipse.draw2d should not be allowed, because
  it invalidates the Page Designer plug-in.

Problem conclusion

• Page Designer has been corrected to always use the draw2d
  from the Eclipse 3.6.x release.
  
  The fix for this APAR is included in Rational Application
  Developer v8.0.4.1.
