PM56789: RDz: java.lang.StackOverflowError when expanding filter

Error description

• Environment: Rational Developer for System z Client 7.6.2.1
  
  Problem Description:
  Getting a stack over flow when using the show xxx more within a
  dataset filter. The error message seen is:
  
  !ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 4 0 2012-01-27 12:20:30.468
  !MESSAGE Unhandled event loop exception
  !STACK 0
  java.lang.StackOverflowError
  
  Recreate steps:
  Expand a filter with several datasets then right click on the
  dataset and click 'show in table'
  Go back to dataset and click on show 491 more and the error
  message will occur.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The problem occured by incorrect event handling of Remote System
  Details view and RDz resource classes.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V7.6.2.4 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
