  To Reproduce:
  
  1)  Make a new element with two branches
  
  2)  Set to one of the views and start xclearcase
  
  3)  Select the element to merge and press the version tree
  button
  
  4)  Select Versions -? Merge -? ?From version -? branch...?
  
  5)  Select the ?From? version and then the ?To? version
  
  6)  The following message is displayed:
  
  ClearCase
  Needs Copy ??element?? [to /main/?branch1/?version? from
  /main/?branch2?/?version?]
  
  Proceed
  
  
  7)  Once Proceed is pressed, the merge does not occur
  
  
  Workaround:  None
