Error description

  • Setting audit logging level from 'Minimal' to 'Basic' (or
    higher) for PowerPlayService, causes error PDS-PPE-0015 in
    running PowerPlay report.????<Error Message>??PDS-PPE-0015 The
    data cache is not open.ppshared/Report/mainview.cpp(1445):
    CPPWebException: CCL_THROW: CMainView::SaveAsPDF????--- NOTE
    ---??Error timing is various, you will receive the error in
    around 20mins ~ 40mins after running report with audit level
    'Basic'.????In C8.4.1FP3, running report is successful without
    any error if PowerPlayService logging level is set to 'Minimal',
    but it 100% fails if logging level is set to 'Basic' (or
    higher).????In C10.1RP1, running report is successful for most
    of the time (but it fails intermittently only at first report
    running), even if PowerPlayService logging level is set to
    'Basic' (or higher).
    

Local fix

  • Set audit logging level to 'Minimal' for PowerPlayService.
