PM52067: Error : Id # ?xxx? (Definition, xyz) is missing key property 'yyy' (Definition, zzz) seen in the V?R log file

Error description

• Description:  Error: Id # ?xxx? (Definition, xyz) is missing key
  property 'yyy' (Definition, zzz) is seen in ?Verify and Repair
  log file? which is been generated for an encyclopedia. This
  ?Error message present in the Verify and Repair log?  is a
  result of a bug in SA because a xyz definition cannot be created
  through System Architect user interface without all required key
  fields being filled out and the relevant definitions being
  defined already.
  
  
  
  Expected Result: Definitions should not be created on the user
  interface of System Architect unless the required key fields are
  being filled out and the relevant definitions are being defined.
  
  
  Actual Result: Currently System Architect creates the xyz
  definition without the concern of the required key fields being
  filled out and relevant definitions being defined already and
  brings up the error message mentioned below in the ?Verify and
  Repair log file? :

  which is been generated for an encyclopedia.
  
  
  Steps to Reproduce:
  
  1. Launch System Architect.
  2. Open an encyclopedia  in System Architect.
  3. Run  ?Verify and Repair? for the encyclopedia  and notice the
  error message mentioned below in the ?Verify and Repair log
  generated?  :
   Error: Id # ?xxx? (Definition, xyz) is missing key property
  'yyy' (Definition, zzz) is seen in ?Verify and Repair log file?
  which is been generated for an encyclopedia.
  
  
  Support Observations:
  We can get past the error message by following the suggestions
  mentioned below:
  
  Navigate to definition ?xxx? and check if the properties 'yyy'
  are entered and defined.
  
  The above suggested method is a manual way of getting past the
  error message.
  
  When there are many 1000?s of this error the manual fix advice
  is not really helpful. The data is usually created via CSV
  import activitiy.

  Due to a prior SA bug CSV import allowed for definitions
  with missing key properties to be imported. This definitions
  cannot manually be fixed.
  

Problem conclusion

• The prior CSV import bug has been fixed in newer SA versions
  such that definitions with missing keys will be flagged and
  skipped. For existing erroneous definitions a Session Option
  (DeleteDefinitionsWithMissingKeys) has been implemented so
  that the user can indicate if "Verify and Repair" should
  delete them.
