Error description

  • Test platform linux
    Synergy 7.2.0.1
    Link-based workarea.

    1) Create project's hierarchy
    Create a task
Create a project named 'un' version 1.
    Check the workarea properties:
    -workarea on.
    -default path
    -symbolic link selected
    -mode absolute

Create a subproject named 'deux' version 1.
    Check its workarea settings:
    -workarea on
    -synbolic link selected
    -mode absolute

Create a subproject named 'trois' version 1, in the subproject
    'deux'.
    Check its workarea settings:
    -workarea on
    -synbolic link selected
    -mode absolute

    2) Check the workareas:
Go in the global workarea to check all the projects:
    cd $HOME/ccm_wa/test720/
    ls -al

Go in the project workarea of project 'un'.
    ls -al

Go in the project's workarea of project 'deux':
    ls -al

=? You can see here that the links pointing to the subprojects
    are correct.

    3) Change the project and subprojects versions. Check the
    workareas.
In the GUI, change the version of the main project 'un' from
    version '1' to version '1111'
As the option 'Modify this project and all subprojects' is
    selected by default,
this also changes the version of all the subprojects.

Check the workarea of all the projects:
    cd $HOME/ccm_wa/test720/
    ls -al

=? You can see here that the projects' workarea have been
    modified.

Go in the project workarea of project 'un'.
    ls -al

Go in the project's workarea of project 'deux':
    ls -al

=? The links to the subprojects are still pointing to the old
    path.

    4) Disable and enable again the workareas without deleting the
    workareas:
Go in the workarea properties of the main project 'un'.
    Select Workarea off
The option 'modify this project and all subprojects is selected.
    Click on Apply
    Select Workarea on
    Click on Apply

    Check the workarea again:
Go in the project workarea of project 'un'.
    ls -al

Go in the project's workarea of project 'deux':
    ls -al

=? The links are still pointing to the old path.

    5) Disable and enable again the workareas and deleting the
    workareas:
Go in the workarea properties of the main project 'un'.
    Select Workarea off
The option 'modify this project and all subprojects is selected.
    Click on Apply
Delete all the workareas of the 3 projects

Go in the workarea properties of the main project 'un'.
    Select Workarea on
The option 'modify this project and all subprojects is selected.
    Click on Apply

Go in the project workarea of project 'un'.
    ls -al

Go in the project's workarea of project 'deux':
    ls -al

=? Now the links are correct.

The links pointing to the subprojects should have been updated
    in point 3 or 4.
