  • When you use notification in your IBM Rational ClearCase
    scheduled jobs, you may see the following error in the albd log:

    Error converting input to Unicode
    
    The first several bytes starting at the beginning of the
    problematic MB character have the following hexadecimal
    representation: \xa0\xf5\xcd\x0\x58.
    
    The beginning of the problematic MB character is 0 bytes away
    from the beginning of the input string.

    You may also see that the messages that are received have
    missing characters.
