Error description
Abstract: When opening help in German in Rational Application Developer 8.0.3, the help navigation shows the top-levels in Italian Problem: 1. Install Rational Application Developer 8.0.3 with German localization 2. Open menu Hilfe ? Inhalte der Hilfetexte Result: Notice that all top-level help folders and also some beneath are shown in Italian while the actual help is in German Local fix: 1. Open the website http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21377830 2. Click on http://download.boulder.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/rationalsdp/d ocumentation/updatesites 3. Download RAD8.0.3_updateSite.zip (538 MB) 4. Extract the archive file RAD8.0.3_updateSite.zip 5. Open menu Hilfe ? Lokale Aktualisierungskomponente fuer Hilfe Result: Browser opens 6. Enter a name into the field Name and point to the file site.xml within the folder created in 4. 7. Pick as components RAD - Translations, RAD and the other help parts 8. Click Install Result: Installation of help into ?SDP?/help/work runs 9. Click OK 10. Open Hilfe ? Inhalt der Hilfetexte Result: Help navigation is shown in German

Problem conclusion
The current version of the plugin, com.ibm.help.common.nav.doc.nl1_7.6.0.v20110628_1703.jar, contains the correct content in the German folder. The fix for this APAR is included in Rational Application Developer v8.0.4.
