PM49586: Rhapsody crashes if incorrect Environment is set

Rational Rhapsody 7.6.1

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If siteC++.prp overrides the Property Environment belonging to
  Configuration Metaclass with less number of compiler specified
  than in factoryC++.prp results in Rhapsody crash.
  
  Steps to Reproduce the crash:
  
  Replace the existing SiteC++.prp with the attached one
  Open RICpp, load the sample SXF model
  
  1)    Open the SXF model distributed in the Rhapsody kit.
  
  2)    Save the project to an area which is writable by the user
  
  3)    Navigate with the project browser to the VxWorks component
  and look at that configuration settings tab.
   A failure is reported (Parameter is incorrect)
  
  4)    Do same with the MS-NT component
  
  5)    Save (from file menu)
  
  6)    Rhapsody crashes.
  
  Attached is the video demonstrating the same.
  
  We understand that the problem is with SiteC++.prp but in any
  case Rhapsody should not crash.
