Error description

  • 'Invalid Error code 1212 received when accessing VSAM file using
the remote debugger on z/OS'

Customer is using RBD 8.0.1.2 to debug a program which accesses
a file
on z/OS.

On a ADD statement, when the record being added is a duplicate,
an
unexpected error code 1212 (Invalid New File name) is returned.

When this status is checked for duplicate, the result is False,
but True was expected by the customer.
