Error description
Abstract: Rational Application Developer v8.0.x does not support Struts with Web 3.0 modules, as was clarified in APAR PM48085; However, the Information Center shows Struts 1.x tooling is supported with Web 2.3+ modules. Problem: The following documentation: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/radhelp/v8/index.jsp?to pic=/com.ibm.etools.struts.doc/topics/cstrutsfacet.html states in Table 1 that the Struts facet is supported for Web 2.3+ modules; However, it should read: Dynamic Web Module 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5 In the Creating Struts enabled Web projects page: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/radhelp/v8/index.jsp?to pic=/com.ibm.etools.struts.doc/topics/twebprojectstruts.html The 'About this task' -? Remember information box should have a second bullet: * Struts 1.2 and 1.3 are only supported with Dynamic Web Module 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5 Local fix/Workaround: No workaround is applicable as the Struts 1.x Facet is not supported with Dynamic web projects targeting the 3.0 specification.
