  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The generated schemas sometimes insert duplicate definitions
(which causes the schema to be invalid). You can find examples
    in the
generated epError.xsd around the ItemId attribute group (you
    will see many
more if you change the transform to generate complete schemas).
    This does
not see to occur when running the UML2XSD transform.

    ****************************************************************
Within a UML model qualified by the WSDL and XSD profile,
and within a XSD schema, when attribute groups are referred
by multiple complex types, the UML-to-WSDL transformation
    generates duplicate attribute group definitions.

Problem conclusion

  • The UML-to-WSDL transformation in Rational Software
Architect for Websphere, generates attribute group
definitions only once within the XSD schema, even if the
attribute group is referred to by multiple types in, the UML
model qualified by the WSDL and XSD profile.
