APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IBM Rational ClearCase Explorer will crash when creating a new
  IBM Rational ClearQuest integrated UCM activity, if another
  application has been toggled to while the activity creation
  dialog is still open.
  
  This has been observed to occur in ClearCase 7.1.1.4 or higher,
  but may also potentially impact earlier versions.
  
  Steps to reproduce the issue:
  
  1) Integrate a ClearCase UCM project with ClearQuest (using
  default UCM schema).
  
  2) Open ClearCase Explorer.
  
  3) Right-click an existing element and select Check Out.
  
  4) In the Check Out dialog, select New?Defect underneath the
  Activity field.
  
  5) Populate all required fields in the 'Submit Defect' dialog.
  Do not click OK.
  
  6) Toggle to any open application or open a new one.
  
  7) Toggle back to the open 'Submit Defect' dialog and click OK.
  The application will crash.
  
  
  WORKAROUND:
  
  - Avoid toggling to another application until activity creation
  has completed.
