Error description

  • In Rational Developer for System z V8.0.2, if a user's password
has been changed with some other product other than the Rational
Developer for System z client and a user attempts to login using
the Rational Developer for System z client and the check box to
save the password had be previously set to save, then the client
will fail to prompt the user to type in the password and instead
fail with the following errors:

Failed to connect to the daemon on RDZ.MUC using port 4037 with
an unexpected exception
