APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In the case where a value prompt is set to select a range, and a
default range is specified, the parameter is set to the upper
value of the range only unless the user presses a Finish or
Submit button, or does the equivalent via javascript.????This
has an impact on values passed in drill through reports,
resulting in only an upper value being passed rather than the
range of values expected.

Local fix

  • add a HTML item to the report page that holds the prompt and put
 this code in it:

This is not practical in cases where many reports are affected.
