PM44705: CM-REQ-4158 SEARCH PATH IS INVALID WHEN DOWNLOADING REPORTS SAVED IN FOLDER CONTAINING AMPERSAND

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When trying to download and save a scheduled report output from
  Cognos Viewer, if the report is saved under a folder with a
  special character (ampersand "&"), the following error is
  encountered:    "CM-REQ-4158 The search path
  "/content/folder[@name='Samples']/folder#@na#e='Models'#/package
  #@na#e='GO
  Data Warehouse #analysis#'#/folder[@na#e='P" is invalid."
  When the report is saved under a folder with no special
  characters in the name, this issue is not encountered.  This is
  not helpful for Customers who have report folders called "P&L".
    Update from the Customer:    Hi Dev,    We have reports which
  is especially designed to work with PDF format and a great
  number of audience access it routinely and its unavailability
  will deprive users to view that specific reports from Cognos
  portal.    Since it s an important issue for us, can you please
  ensure that its included  in future release of fix pack and we
  get hot fix for testing before its lumped in fix pack?
