Error description

• RDz LPEX editor is flagging SQL statement with Replace function:
  
  
  || strip(replace(SURETY_NAME, '&', '%26'))
  
  The error text returned by RDz is :
  'REPLACING' expected instead of this input
  
  This use of the replace function should not be flagged as an
  error in the SQL.
  
  This error also disables (grayed out) the RDz 'Open Declaration'
  and 'Open Perform Hierarchy' functions.  If this line is
  commented out from the SQL statement, these functions are
  enabled.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• RDz showed incorrect warning annotations when the replace
  keyword was used within EXEC END-EXEC blocks.
  

Problem conclusion

• In the next release, the incorrect warning annotations will not
  be shown when replace is used within EXEC END-EXEC blocks.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V8.0.3 Refresh Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
