Error description

• TM1Guardian (introduced with Hotfix 14) provides a lock
  ??escalation mechanism for TM1 write operations to ensure the
  write         ??operation (TI process) can commit changes wihtin
  a defined time limit     ??on a busy cube used for reporting.
                                      ??
                                                 ??This issue is
  apparent in Cognos 8 and affects all reports which are
  ??active which had their corresponding TM1 thread cancelled as
  part of      ??the lock escalation.
                          ??
                                     ??This is most easily
  confirmed for report executions which invoke a long   ??running
  OLEDBRowSetDataGet process once the view create has been
   ??finalised.
              ??
                         ??The issue can be manually invoked
  (which mimics the role of TM1Guardian   ??cancelled threads) by
  cancelling an active thread in a
  ??OLEDBRowSetDataGet process within TM1Top.
