• The workspaceBuild Ant task may hang the product while it waits
  for the various validators to complete.

  As part of the workspaceBuild task there is a call to wait
  for all validation jobs to complete.  This call may cause
  the product to hang as a deadlock can occur as the
  validation framework is waiting for the build to complete
  before it can terminate while the build it waiting for the
  validation framework to terminate.
  

Problem conclusion

• The call to the validation framework will no longer wait for
  the build to complete before it terminates.
  
  This is fixed in Rational Application Developer v8.0.4.
