Error description

  • The EMP documentation includes a topic on the use of PERL
expressions in templates that leads users to believe that any
PERL code, including references to the $entity object, can be
    used.
This leads to issues with either the validation of templates or
the execution of the code at run time. The reason for these
issue is that those PERL expressions in email plus templates are
validated against the EmailPlusTemplate record type and not the
target record type of the template. This has been acknowledged
as a limitation of the current architecture of the EMP package
and the documentation should clearly state it.
