• Building a project that utilizes the JAX-RS classpath container

  fails to compile in Rational Build Utility because the JAX-RS
  classpath cannot be resolved.

  Some of the Rational Application Developer JAX-RS webservice
  plugins have hard dependency requirement on some UI-specific
  plugins.  As a result the activation of the plugin that
  contributes the resolution of the JAX-RS classpath container
  fails leading to the resolution of this classpath container
  to fail.
  

Problem conclusion

• The UI dependencies were marked as optional.  The fix for
  this APAR is included in Rational Application Developer and
  Rational Build Utility v8.0.4.
